Guidelines for presenters

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION AND REGISTRATION: are closed. For any questions, please contact kseniia.golubenko AT oulu.fi.

ORAL TALKS: Using your own PC for the presentation is not allowed.
Electronic files must be uploaded to the dedicated PC before the session starts (during registration or on June 10 from 09:00 to 09:20), either via email or using a USB flash drive (available on site) in .pdf or .pptx.
Please contact LOC members on site if you need assistance.
The duration of presentations is as follows:
– 25 minutes for keynote talks + 5 minutes for discussion;
– 17 minutes for invited talks + 3 minutes for discussion;
– 10 minutes for contributed talks + 2 minutes for discussion.
Please manage your time carefully, as the program is very tight and exceeding the allocated time will not be possible.

POSTER SESSION: on June 9 from 11:50 to 13:00 and from 16:50 to 19:00.
Presenters are asked to hang their posters between 09:00 and 09:45 during registration.
The poster size must not exceed A0. Posters should be displayed strictly on the board assigned to each presenter (the number will be indicated in the program).
NB: You cannot print your poster(s) in  Åland/Ahvenanmaa. If you have difficulties with printing, please let us know by June 5, and we will try to find possible printing options.
Poster Competition for Early-Career Researchers: for the first time, the symposium will host a poster competition dedicated to early-career researchers. A jury of senior scientists will carefully review all student posters and select the most outstanding contributions. The winners will receive special prizes from the Finnish Physical Society as recognition of their work and to encourage active participation of the next generation of scientists in the field of space climate.
