I. Please register your participation via the Registration Form.

Financial support request: before 1 February 2026 closed

*Registration closes on 15 April 2026, or earlier if the number of participants exceeds 100 (the number of participants is limited due to technical constraints).

Early bird registration fee: before 15 March 2026 (400 EUR)

Normal registration fee: before 15 April 2026 (470 EUR)

  1. Fee includes lunches, welcome, coffee breaks, conference dinner, excursion, and conference materials.
  2. The accompanying person price is 175 EUR and includes the conference dinner and excursion, subject to availability and timely payment via the website.

    II. Please submit your presentation abstract from the Abstract Submission Form. You can create, modify and complete your form at any time until the deadline:

Oral Contribution: before 22 February 2026

Poster Contribution: before 15 April 2026

– A limit of 1 oral contribution per person.
– The organising committee will decide whether the submitted abstracts are accepted or not, and whether they are classified as a talk or a poster.
– If the presenting author does not register by the registration deadline, the abstract will be cancelled.

NB: You cannot print your poster(s) in  Åland/Ahvenanmaa. 

Using your own PC for the presentation is not allowed. Electronic files should be copied to the dedicated PC before a session starts (preferably during the 1st day) using email or flash memory sticks (will be available). Please ask LOC members at the site for assistance.

Poster Competition for Early-Career Researchers: for the first time, the symposium will host a poster competition dedicated to early-career researchers. A jury of senior scientists will carefully review all student posters and select the three most outstanding contributions. The winners will receive special prizes from the Finnish Physical Society as recognition of their work and to encourage active participation of the next generation of scientists in the field of space climate.

Financial support:

Partly financial support is available for young scientists (max 2 yrs after PhD defence), emeritus scientists and researchers from developing countries, including accommodation in sharing room and/or a waiver of the registration fee.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide financial support to cover travel expenses.

To apply for financial support, please send a short motivation letter and cv at spaceclimate10◎gmail.com (replacing ◎ to @) by February 1, 2026. The decision will be announced by March 1, 2026. In case you are not supported or only partially supported, you can decide within fifteen days whether to participate at the full or partial price by 15 March 2026.
