The Symposia focus on three core objectives:
- Exploring the causes and effects of long-term solar variations, with an emphasis on the solar magnetic dynamo and the phenomena it drives, such as sunspots, flares, coronal mass ejections, and high-speed solar wind streams.
- Understanding how solar activity influences near-Earth space, the atmosphere, and even the climate over time scales ranging from months to millennia.
- Refining the datasets, including sunspot numbers and geomagnetic records, that form the foundation of solar research.

Terms and Conditions – Space Climate 10 Conference
1. General Information
The Space Climate 10 Conference is an international scientific meeting organized by the Space Climate organizing committee. By registering for the Conference, participants agree to comply with the terms and conditions outlined below.
2. Registration and Fees
Registration is available via the official Registration Form.
- Early Bird Registration Fee: 400 EUR (available until 15 March 2026)
- Regular Registration Fee: 470 EUR (available until 15 April 2026)
All registration fees must be paid in full to confirm participation. Registration is considered complete only after successful payment.
3. What the Registration Fee Includes
The registration fee covers full participation in all scientific sessions and access to the conference infrastructure.
It also includes:
- Daily lunches during the conference days
- Coffee breaks
- Welcome reception
- Conference dinner
- Conference excursion
No additional fees are required for these events unless otherwise stated.
4. Payment Policy
Payments are processed through Paytrail Oyj, a licensed payment institution cooperating with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj will appear as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Oyj forwards the payment to the conference organizers.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Refunds are possible only if your submitted abstract is not accepted by the Scientific Committee due to being outside the thematic scope of the conference.
In all other cases (e.g., change of plans, visa issues, etc.), the registration fee is non-refundable.
However, registration may be transferred to another participant by written request and approval from the organizers.
6. Changes and Force Majeure
The organizers reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the conference program, venue, or schedule.
If the event must be canceled or postponed due to circumstances beyond the organizers’ control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, or travel restrictions), the organizers will make every effort to reschedule the event or provide alternative participation options.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal data collected during registration will be used only for conference organization purposes and communication related to the event. Data will not be shared with third parties except as required for payment processing through Paytrail Oyj.
