During our working visit to Bern (ISSI team led by Antti Kero) two reports were presented: “Intro to CGR+SEP induced ionisation in middle- and low atmosphere” by Ilya Usoskin and “Rn222 impact on GEC in CCM SOCOL simulations” by Kseniia Golubenko.
The primary research objective of the ISSI team is to find a mechanism by which the ozone layer is affected by solar proton events.
